Charlie Sheen may spend only nights in jail

New York, June 5 (ANI): ‘Two and a Half Men‘ star Charlie Sheen could end up spending only nights in jail, as he will most likely apply for a work release program that allows him to take a day job in Aspen.

According to TMZ, Sheen, 44, who was recently sentenced to a month in a Colorado jail for assaulting his wife last Christmas, could serve a sentence that only requires he spend his nights in the big house.

The site however has said that the work release application is not a guaranteed thing, reports the New York Daily News.

A judge will first have to declare Sheen eligible for work release on June 7, when the actor heads to court and enters the plea bargain that will send him to jail.

And Sheen will be eligible to stay out of jail from 9-to-5 only if the court rules him eligible for the program, and if the sheriff approves his application. (ANI)
