Oz women prefer secure financial future than costly diamonds

Melbourne, Aug 6 (ANI): A research has revealed that most Australian women are more concerned about their financial future and less about the size of the diamond when it comes to engagement rings and expensive jewellery.

The survey has been conducted by oo.com.au.

It found that 70 per cent of Aussie women want a good-looking engagement ring, but would prefer partners not to spend a lot, reports the Daily Telegraph.

They said they would rather have the money saved go towards a house deposit or a honeymoon.

On the back of this research, oo.com.au is also giving all strapped-for-cash blokes a break by offering quality diamond rings for only 1 dollar. (ANI)
