Star Trek
2009 Star Trek is a repeated formula of success with loud action and colorful shots. The feeling is that this film is repetitive of the idea because it has gone back into the days to establish the characters rather than taking a voyage into future.
The film uses time travel to explain the characters and turns time to reaffirm the characters that have assembled in the deck of USS Enterprise, the spacecraft that makes its journey into intergalactic storms.
In this space opera you will find that aged Mr. Spock encountering younger Spock played by Zachery Quinto and surely it is delightful and not astonishing for sci-fi films is not meant to astonish you.
The voyage in USS Enterprise is to save mankind from the evil act of Romulan captain Nero played by Eric Bana. The journey is filled with impossible cosmic perils dotted with actions and comedy with a focus to save the galaxy from deadly threat.
There is a clash between the new-bred Spock with the calm-faced aged man. However, it is the powerful partnership of these two Spocks that eventually rotates the film in several angles.
There are some hilarious connotations in this film such as the use of the concept of black holes and puzzling logic as why Scott has to parachute people physically on the platform of other spaceship when he is actually can beam people in the other ship. Again, after the men of Scott land on that ship of Romulan guards they fight with fists and swords!
The movie leaves many questions pointed towards science but embraces fiction. However, the best part of 2009 Star Trek is the perfect union of the Spock and the better armed spaceship of the Romulans. It was great to know that explosions cannot damage spaceships and there are life boats as well to save the crew, though its far away from the base. It is this method of transportation that keeps the audience gape at the movie besides the concept of warp speed usage.
The film has some affecting moments as well such as the instance of how does the young Spock realizes that he is facing the most human character of the film portrayed by the elderly Spock. Chris Pine too plays a great role as James T Kirk. At time the command deck of USS Enterprise resembles like a child have come to the school day to sit on a daddy’s chair.
Again, Uthura played by Zoe Saldana reflected gentle and wise appeal but very much unsuited to the costume. Additionally Eric Bana’s character is strong and effective who is in a mission to destroy the planet on the basis of foul intelligence.
However, to my opinion Star Trek is not a science fiction film, instead it is a film that uses only a starship and the characters enacted are very familiar to the audiences.
This new movie spice up with only new faces of younger generation, otherwise there is not much into it. Expectation is that the next one should engage these characters into more challenging and devious roles, putting their credentials into test rather than reestablishing their characters.

There are several mistakes in your report. It is UHURA, Spock is a Commander, Scotty didn’t appear until after Kirk had parachuted onto the platform. And you don’t mention Chris Pine in your cast list.
