Madonna against daughter Lourdes acting now

London, Sep 6 (IANS) Pop superstar Madonna is reportedly not allowing her 11-year-old daughter Lourdes to act in a new movie and is determined to not let her enter the world of showbiz until she finishes school.

Lourdes has been approached to co-star with Paul Bettany and Dakota Fanning in the upcoming comedy “The Secret Life of Bees”.

“Madonna didn’t work until after school and she wants it to be the same for Lourdes. She doesn’t want her to enter that harsh world,” a source close to her was quoted as saying by contactmusic.com.

But the source added that Madonna might find it difficult to keep her daughter away from the trappings of fame for long.

“Lourdes is pretty determined, so I predict a battle in the future.”
