Spears’ mom heartbroken by her emotional breakdown

London, Sep 6 (IANS) Lynne Spears, the mother of troubled pop star Britney Spears, has revealed that she was heartbroken watching television coverage of her daughter having a meltdown.
Thesun.co.uk reports that Britney did not have a good relationship with her mom at the time she had an emotional breakdown and had to be admitted to a hospital for psychiatric treatment.
Lynne said: “When I saw her in the ambulance, her beautiful brown eyes pained and haunted, something inside me broke. To see my child like this – at the lowest ebb of her life – almost killed me. I was overcome with a feeling of sadness and helplessness.”
“It was so shocking, so disturbing to see that girl with such despondency in her eyes – it broke my heart in a million pieces,” she added.
